Lahore Heritage & Food Walk
Two days through the Walled City, the Mughal monuments and the food streets, on foot where it matters.
Punjab · Pakistan
Mughal architecture, walled-city bazaars and the best food culture in the country.
Lahore rewards walking. The Walled City still follows its historic street pattern, and the restored Shahi Guzargah route runs from Delhi Gate past the Wazir Khan Mosque — whose seventeenth-century tilework is among the finest anywhere in South Asia — towards the Lahore Fort.
The Fort and the Badshahi Mosque face each other across Hazuri Bagh, with Shalimar Gardens a short drive east. The Lahore Museum holds the Fasting Buddha of Gandhara, one of the country's most significant artefacts.
Evenings belong to food: Gawalmandi and the rooftops around the Badshahi Mosque, where dinner comes with a floodlit view.
Allama Iqbal International Airport connects to Gulf hubs and domestic cities. The city is well served by ride-hailing and the Orange Line metro.
