Question 1

How do I book a tour with Amna Tours?

Accepted Answer

Send an enquiry through any form on this site, message us on WhatsApp, or call the office. A consultant will come back to you with options and a written quotation showing exactly what is and is not included. Once you are happy, a deposit confirms the booking and we issue a confirmation with your itinerary.

Question 2

How quickly will someone reply to my enquiry?

Accepted Answer

Enquiries received during business hours are usually answered the same day, and always within one business day. If your travel date is very close, call or message on WhatsApp rather than emailing — it is faster.

Question 3

Can you build a private itinerary instead of a group tour?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and a large share of what we do is private. Tell us your dates, group size, budget and what you want out of the trip, and we will build an itinerary around that rather than fitting you into a fixed departure.

Question 4

Do you arrange trips for corporate groups and schools?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Group travel needs different planning — vehicle capacity, room configurations, meal arrangements and a clear point of contact. Send us the group size and dates and we will quote accordingly.

Question 5

What deposit is required to confirm a booking?

Accepted Answer

A deposit is required to secure your place, with the balance due before departure. The exact amount depends on the package and how close the departure date is, and is stated on your quotation before you commit to anything.

Question 6

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Standard terms are set out in full on each tour page under "Cancellation policy". In summary: cancelling more than 30 days before departure retains only the deposit; 15 to 30 days retains 50%; under 15 days is non-refundable. Flights, visa fees and non-refundable hotel bookings follow the supplier’s own rules, which we set out in writing at the time of booking.

Question 7

What happens if a trip is cancelled because of weather or road closures?

Accepted Answer

Mountain travel carries this risk and we plan for it. Where a departure cannot proceed, we offer a rescheduled date or refund whatever we are able to recover from hotels and transport suppliers. Our itineraries include buffer days specifically to absorb short delays without cancelling.

Question 8

How can I pay?

Accepted Answer

Bank transfer is the usual method. Full details are issued on your invoice once a booking is confirmed. Please verify account details with our team by phone before sending any payment — never act on bank details received only by email or message.

Question 9

Do you offer instalments?

Accepted Answer

For some packages booked well in advance we can arrange a payment schedule between the deposit and the final balance. Ask your consultant when you request a quotation.

Question 10

What is included in a tour price?

Accepted Answer

Every tour page lists inclusions and exclusions in full rather than in general terms. Typically the price covers accommodation, listed meals, transport for the whole itinerary, a tour leader and the entrance fees named in the itinerary. Flights, lunches, personal expenses, insurance and tips are usually excluded.

Question 11

Are your northern tours suitable for elderly travellers?

Accepted Answer

Many are. The limiting factors are the length of driving days and altitude at the high passes rather than walking. Tell us about any mobility or health considerations when you enquire and we will tell you honestly whether a particular itinerary is suitable, and suggest an alternative if it is not.

Question 12

Do I need travel insurance for a domestic tour?

Accepted Answer

It is not mandatory, but we recommend it for trekking and high-altitude itineraries, where evacuation from a remote valley is expensive without cover.

Question 13

Is the Umrah visa included in your packages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Umrah visa processing is included in every Umrah package we sell. Issuance and timing are decided by the Saudi authorities and cannot be guaranteed by any agency.

Question 14

How is hotel distance from the Haram measured?

Accepted Answer

As a walking distance in metres to the nearest gate, on foot — not as a straight line. Where a package uses a shuttle instead of walking access, we say so explicitly and give the frequency.

Question 15

Can women perform Umrah without a mahram?

Accepted Answer

The rules on this have changed more than once in recent years. We confirm the current position at the time of your booking rather than relying on general advice found online.

Question 16

Can you guarantee my visa will be approved?

Accepted Answer

No, and you should treat any agency that guarantees a visa with caution. The decision belongs entirely to the embassy or consulate. What we do is make sure your application is complete, correctly documented and submitted on time — the part that is genuinely within anyone’s control.

Question 17

What does your visa service fee cover?

Accepted Answer

Document preparation, form completion, appointment booking and submission support. Embassy fees, biometrics charges and courier costs are separate and are paid at the prevailing rate.

Question 18

How far in advance should I apply?

Accepted Answer

For electronic visas such as the UAE, one to two weeks is usually enough. For appointment-based visas — Schengen, UK, Turkey — apply six to eight weeks ahead, because appointment availability rather than processing time is normally the constraint.

Question 19

Do you issue tickets, or only quote fares?

Accepted Answer

We book and issue tickets. Send us your route and dates and we will come back with options across airlines, explaining the routing and layovers rather than just quoting the cheapest number.

Question 20

Can I book a hotel without a full package?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hotel-only bookings are available for every property listed here and for many that are not. Send us your dates and room requirements and we will confirm availability and rates.

Question 21

Does your travel insurance meet Schengen requirements?

Accepted Answer

Our Schengen Compliant Cover is written to meet the €30,000 minimum medical cover, valid across all Schengen states for the full duration of the stay, including repatriation. The certificate is issued in the format consulates expect.
