Makkah hotels are measured in walking minutes to the Masjid al-Haram; Madinah hotels in proximity to the Masjid an-Nabawi's central area. We list both distances plainly on every package rather than describing a hotel as "close".
Ziyarat in both cities — Jabal al-Nour, Mina and Arafat around Makkah; Quba, Uhud and the Qiblatain mosque in Madinah — is usually arranged as a half day in each.
